Self-care

Stressing over little things has become a habit nonetheless, but so has self-care. I am well aware that self-care should be done on a regular basis, but I still depend on whether or not I deserve it. Self-care for me is a small treat, like watching netflix, making playlists, hanging out with friends and family, laughing at memes, and documenting endless self portraits. I do these things when I feel drained, stressed, and when I have gone through the seemingly impossible week. Giving up is rarely an option, and when I feel like doing so, that’s when I know that I need to take a break, give myself some time to relax, and take care of my own mental health.
